Square roses are nothing new. This form is found in art deco fittings, in villas of the early modern period and particularly in the 1970s they were considered a major fashion accent. Thus, the Kungsholm and Gripsholm models of the Danish designer Sigvard Bernadotte, which we presented in 1966, were combined indeed with a square rose.
The new D40 roses with polyamide bearings are available in aluminium, brass and stainless steel. We have combined it with three fittings from our range: the model 600 "Standard" in brass, the model 2500 "Integer" in stainless steel and the model 7000 "Lilly" in aluminium.
We find that in all these forms a fascinating accent is set by the new square rose. Simply beautiful around the edge!
